Get to know your Steering Team: meet Margaret!

My full name is Margaret O'Driscoll Berry.

I'm the MOPS Coordinator. 

I have two children -- Caleb (4) and Cooper (2). 

I'm originally from North Augusta, SC.

To relax, I like photography, soccer, & baking. I guess I'm a little weird in that I like cleaning my house & yard work... it's not relaxing, but I find it satisfying. 

If I could order from anywhere tonight instead of making dinner, I'd choose Olive Garden. 

If I could do anything & get paid for it, I'd bake.

I like salty & sweet. Anything with chocolate, chips & dip, peanut butter, popcorn...

Favorite recently read books are The Hunger Games.

If my family had a soundtrack, it would be the theme song for Ringling Brothers Circus. 

If I had an extra room in my house, I'd use it for a dedicated playroom for all the toys to live in.

My favorite thing about MOPS is being reminded that I'm not alone in my daily struggles!

We meet the second Thursday of each month at New Covenant Church, located at 301 Simpson Road, Anderson SC 29621. Childcare is provided & your first meeting is free (each subsequent meeting is $5). And we'll have breakfast & coffee... because if you're like me, you need coffee! :)

We'll be kicking off the year at our first meeting on Thursday, Sept 13, 2012. Meeting registration starts at 8:45 am & the meeting begins promptly at 9:00 am. For more info on where park, registration, etc, please click here.

MOPS Recipe Exchange

Our next meeting is Thursday, November 10. This is such a fun meeting since we ask all MOPS moms to bring a dish to share and copies of the recipe. I was introduced to some FABULOUS new recipes last year and look forward to what this year brings. (Recipes can be for appetizers, main dishes, side dishes, desserts, appropriate beverages, or anything that you have to share)

Rescheduled MOTT

Hoping for better weather this week as we have rescheduled our MOTT at the Trinity United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch. We will meet on Tuesday, October 18th at 11:00 for storytime, pumpkin carving, games, and pumpkin picking. Cost is $5 and includes pumpkin, snack, and other festivities. This is always a favorite outing for our kids so we hope to see you there.
