What is MOPS?

MOPS stands for "Mothers of Preschoolers." MOPS is about meeting the needs of moms of young children, ages conception through kindergarten. Whether stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single or married, MOPS is for you! We are a nondenominational ministry that brings moms together to build relationships in our local community of Anderson, SC. Check out MOPS International for more information.

Anderson MOPS meets on the second Thursday of each month (September though May) at Boulevard Baptist Church. Please see the "New to MOPS?" page to learn more about joining our group. We hope to see you there!  Read on for more info on our theme and team!

Introducing the MOPS 2016-17 theme:

Theme Verse:
Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it...
call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable
things you do not know. Jeremiah 33:2-3

We think being starry eyed looks a lot like:
  • WONDER... we breathe in wonder like our lives depend on it
  • KINDNESS... we exhale kindness into the world
  • HOPE... each breath is an opportunity
Join us as we journey together in learning how to be starry eyed!
