It's Time for Steering Team Intros!

First Edition: Outreach Team

It is the job of the Outreach Team to make sure the world hears about the amazing things happening at Anderson MOPS, and to ensure MOPS members get all the news they need about upcoming meetings, events, and important goings-on in the lives of MOPS mamas. Here are the friendly faces of our Outreach Team:


Sarah Rettew

Steering Team Responsibility: DGL Team Leader Extraordinaire
Ages of Children: One daughter, (almost) 5
She could not survive being a mom without: Coffee! So much coffee!
Hobbies and Interests: She hearts reading and also watches TV shows with no redeeming qualities.
A quote that inspires her: "She has fire in her soul & grace in her heart."


Megan Bates

Steering Team Responsibility: MOPS on the Town and Moms Night Out Event Scheduling and Publicity
Ages of Children: 3, 6, & 9
She could not survive being a mom without: Jesus and coffee
Hobbies and Interests: Crafting, reading & running

Jenny Pray

Steering Team Responsibility: Keeper of the MOPS blog
Ages of Children: Three girls ages 5, 3, & 1
She could not survive being a mom without: Coffee (seeing a trend here?) and girls' nights.
Hobbies and Interests: Photography and mom-related blogging.

Steering Team Responsibility: Coordinating Meals for Moms
Ages of Children: 5, 3, & 17 months
She could not survive being a mom without: A supportive group of girlfriends
Hobbies and Interests: A self-described hippie chick, she loves to read and research home remedies
A quote that inspires her: Proverbs 14:4 "Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest." Translation: Our houses are messy for a reason, and our children are a blessing and here for a purpose.
